This is a premium quality, wool blend, flex fit baseball style cap hat honoring the horse troopers and officers of the Federal Cavalry service. Sheridan, Kilpatrick, Custer, Farnsworth, Merritt, Buford. In places like Aldie, Gettysburg, Hanover, and Yellow Tavern, Union Cavalry developed into a force very capable of going toe to toe with the prodigious Confederate Cavalry force. The hat features the famous cavalry crossed sabers insignia in detailed puff style embroidery (the type found on professional baseball caps) in metallic gold, on a dark navy wool blend cap. The cap has Union Cavalry embroidered on the rear hat band in a historically accurate cavalry yellow.

Sizing Information: Four sizes: Youth/Womens, S/M, L/XL, and XXL

Youth:  (XSmall Through Small) Our YOUTH cap fits heads 20 1/8" to 21 1/4" or
6-3/8 - 6-7/8 

S/M (Small through Medium). A S/M cap would fits heads with a measurement of 21 inches to 22 1/2 inches, or hat sizes 6-3/4 to 7-1/4.

L/XL (Large through Extra Large) The L/XL hat would fit measurements just over 22 1/2 up to 24 inches, or hat size 7-1/4 to 7-1/2

The XXL size would fit hat sizes 7-5/8 and larger.   

The most reliable way of sizing is to measure with a tape. There is crossover at the 7-1/4 size. A person with a 7-1/4 head size could wear either a Sm/Med or an L/XL, with the Sm/Med fitting just a little bit more snug and the L/XL fitting a little looser.
